Care and Warranty
Care and Warranty
Everything you need to protect your stone surfaces with clarity, confidence, and long-term assurance.
Installation Warranty
Our work is meant to last. This warranty exists to stand behind the way your stone is installed and finished in your home.
What the Warranty Covers
This installation warranty covers defects in our workmanship, including how your countertops are installed, subject to the exclusions listed below.
To use your warranty, you will need proof of the original purchase and installation date.
How Long Coverage Lasts
- The installation warranty is valid for one year from the date of installation.
- All implied warranties are also limited to one year from the date of installation.
- Some states do not allow limits on how long an implied warranty lasts, so this limitation may not apply to you.
What Is Not Covered
Because stone is a natural material and homes are dynamic environments, some things sit outside the scope of this warranty. This warranty does not cover:
- Countertops that have been moved from their original installed location
- Natural characteristics of stone such as color variations, water lines, or surface marks
- Any cracking, staining, or scratching of natural stone
- Damage caused by house settlement, structural shifts, or movement of cabinets or walls
- Damage caused by fires, tornados, or other acts of nature
- Any damage or issues resulting from factors beyond Precision Stone Design’s control
- Indirect, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, related to the installation or this agreement, whether based on contract, tort, negligence, or other claims, even if Precision Stone Design has been advised of the possibility of such damages
- Dust, noise, or odor from the normal use of sealers, hardeners, and glue during installation
- Minor nicks, cuts, holes, or scratches to drywall, cabinets, or mirrors that may occur in order to achieve a custom fit
- Any claim made by a subsequent owner, as this warranty is not transferable
- Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above exclusions may not apply to you.
What Precision Stone Design Will Do
If your countertop proves to have a defect in workmanship within the warranty period, Precision Stone Design will repair the countertop whenever possible.
- The goal is always to restore the integrity and function of the surface in a way that respects your space and your investment.
