Protect the Stone You Chose for Its Character
Marble brings depth, movement, and softness that engineered surfaces do not fully reproduce. But everyday contact with lemon, wine, vinegar, tomato, coffee, and certain household cleaners can leave dull rings and marks known as etching.
MORE AntiEtch provides another way to live with marble. The crystal-clear treatment protects acid-sensitive surfaces against etching and staining while preserving the selected finish.
What Is MORE AntiEtch, and How Is It Different From a Sealer?
MORE AntiEtch is an ultra-thin treatment that bonds to the surface and is cured with UV equipment. It creates a nonporous barrier against the foods, drinks, and cleaners that commonly cause etching or staining.
A penetrating sealer can slow liquid absorption and help reduce staining, but it cannot stop the acid reaction that causes dull spots and rings on marble.

Is AntiEtch Right for Your Surface?
AntiEtch is best suited for interior surfaces that regularly come into contact with food, drinks, or household products such as kitchen countertops, islands, bar tops, and bathroom vanities made from acid-sensitive stone.
Before treatment, Precision Stone Design reviews the material, finish, and condition before quoting. Existing etching may require restoration first. Granite, engineered quartz, and exterior surfaces exposed to direct sunlight are not intended applications.

Does sealing marble prevent etching?
No. A penetrating sealer can help reduce staining, but it does not prevent acid from reacting with marble. AntiEtch is designed to protect the treated surface against both etching and staining.
Will AntiEtch change the color or feel of my stone?
The treatment is crystal clear and designed to preserve the stone’s appearance. It is available for honed, satin, and polished finishes. The surface and desired finish should still be reviewed before treatment.
Can AntiEtch be applied to marble that is already etched?
Often, yes. Existing etch marks and stains are assessed before application. The stone’s condition determines what restoration or preparation is possible.
How long does AntiEtch last?
MORE Surface Care describes AntiEtch as permanent protection for the life of the treated surface. The manufacturer provides a lifetime warranty against etching and staining when the product is registered and maintained according to its requirements.
AntiEtch does not prevent scratches, cuts, heat damage, or abrasive wear. Follow the recommended care guidance and use cutting boards, trivets, and nonabrasive cleaning tools.
